How long can a goldfish live in a plastic bag?
We spoke a few today and a goldfish once we home we realized the tank will not be ready for 24 hours. Able to survive the goldfish in the plastic bag for 24 hours? What about thank them until you're ready!
You can put the fish in the tank as soon as everything is running and you know they do not leak. Assuming that the dechlorinated water was of course. But to answer the question, a day if they are seen and not much air in the bag. Less water and more air is better for them in a bag. You can always open the bag for air exchange and Retie. Hopefully not too many fish with a new tank. If you have serious problems of ammonia to meet the next weeks.
