How to get the smell of smoke from a diaper bag?
I bought a diaper bag back out eBay and see that it came from a home smoke-free and that just sucks, I let the outside air for days, sprayed Febreeze and even put in the dryer with a dryer sheet for a while. It is sure what material it is made, it says it can be washed clean with a rag. Is there any way to remove this from the stench?
I bought a lot of things on Ebay and have run into that problem, just the smell was attached to some books I purchased. As for your problem, I try to put it in the washer and if you have a "soft" cycle, use that. If you do not have that cycle, attempts to fill the washer with warm water and detergent, then put the diaper bag in the water and soak for a couple of hours. Do not forget to add Downey or any other type of fabric softeners. Hopefully the bag will absorb the fragrance of detergent and / or fabric softener. Good luck!
