Best choice of train ticket for the weekend in August (28th-31st) Sunbury, London?
Hi guys, me and my family are visiting London in the last weekend in August, arriving at Gatwick Airport. We plan to visit Hampton Court, Kensington Gardens and the general area of the city of London. Our hotel is close to Sunbury station, so it is based there ... and Gatwick> Sunbury, then with the weekend, Sunbury> Hampton, Sunbury> Kensington, etc. My question is, What would be the best value rail card for 3 of us during that weekend? Or was it more cheaper to buy each ticket separately? Cheers, Killian.
Always ask about the option groupsave, 3 adults travel for the price of two (and a child will be classified as an adult to take for a family.) Alternatively, if a single mother and her two children, ask a family travel card that gives adults a discount and children go for $ 2 each. 1.6 Area Travelcards cover the vast majority of trains, buses, underground and Docklands light rail trips. Hampton is within the area of card transport, so you can use it. PLUS ask for a little 2 for 1 vouchers (or download) for entry to Hampton Court.
