What kind of Black Belt do you prefer, satin, cotton, other? And what brand?
I had a discussion with a friend who owns his own dojo, which prefers satin belt use when promoting his black belt. I prefer to use cotton belts during training or sparring, and reserves the tournament satin belt or ceremony. He is thinking about changing their belts that are given. What kind of belts prefer? What width of size and what brand do you recommend?
I prefer cotton, standard gauge, (1 3 / 4 "). Uniforms and belts manufactured in Japan are my favorite. (which are OK, durability, and affordable)
